Randy Grimm has had a keen interest in photography as art, for as long as he can remember. After getting out of the Marine Corps in 1971, he was motivated to get more serious with photography by his then future father-in-law and my father, Ridgeway Lloyd Downs. Mr. Downs was an Electrical Engineer by trade and he approached his photography from an engineer's perspective and he had a full black and white darkroom set up in his basement, which drew Randy's interest even deeper. With a tremendous amount of one on one instruction over the years with my father and many formal photography courses, a passion to capture life and our world on film exploded into what has now become Randy's main focus, pun intended, in life.

With over 30 years of successful interpersonal people skills in the corporate world, Randy has an insightful ability to bring out the best in his portraiture work and especially his candid and modeling shots. People are immedately at ease and are willing to give their best to him.

Randy travels the world over to bring to you the artistic images that will impress you and those around you forever.

Additionally, Randy has just recently been invited by Pentax Imaging Corporation to display his art on their Pentax Photo Gallery. This is an exclusive invite, as only 300 photographers in the world are on that list.

Randy has several passions, all of which mingle into each other. They are People, Photography, Nature, Travel, Wildlife, Music and Life Itself. Oh, and it's not uncommon to see him cruising down the road on his Harley Davidson with his camera gear backpack on.
